Dear All,

An Indian folk tale tells how the Peahen conceives by imbibing the tears of the Peacock. If Dr Karl's hypothesis is true, no doubt the males are producing tears because the male has put so much time an resources into growing such an elaborate display and the female has no interest in it.

Cheers,

Carl Clifford
