Bob,
 Best stick to a soft brush and a bulb type blower. Compressed air,  
whether from a can or compressor can imbed dust and grit into threads  
and the innards of cameras. I use a bristle shaving brush, but a  
blusher brush (unused) will do as well, though people might give you  
odd looks if you carry one with your gear.
