Hi all,
A few interesting sightings in this area during these last few hot days 
included:
Pitt Town Ferry Rd - 3 Red-kneed Dotterels
Bushell's Lagoon - very high water levels, very few waterfowl present. Small 
flock of c 5 Chestnut-breasted Mannikins and a Spotted Crake were the only 
sightings of note.
McGraths Hill - 2 Intermediate Egrets, 5 Royal Spoonbills
Kurmond Rd - larger than usual numbers and variety of waterfowl on the various 
dams visible past Freemans Reach included many Grey Teal and Hardhead, a 
White-necked Heron and a Yellow-billed Spoonbill - latter 2 are locally 
uncommon-rare. 
Kurrajong Hills - Swamp Wallaby, Aust Pelican (7), Grey Goshawk, Wonga Pigeon, 
Brown Cuckoo-dove, Bar-shouldered and Peaceful Doves in good numbers. Scaly 
Thrush and a flock of c 6 Gang Gang Cockatoos have been regular recent visitors 
- latter species not seen locally in this month before.
