Greetings,
Needing to take a break from the computer and paper work this afternoon I went with Maria to the Curtain Fig where in a few minutes I saw Pied, Spectacled, White-eared Monarch and Yellow-breasted Boatbill. I though that was pretty special but added Black-faced as I drove into our yard. Thinking about that a little more I realised that I had seen Magpie Lark, Spangled Drongo, Grey Fantail and Willy Wagtail in that time also. This made a total of nine Dicruridae in about fifteen to twenty-five minutes.

Silvereyes and Bush Stone Curlews have hatched young in the garden in the last few days.

There is a Black-tailed Native Hen at Hasties Swamp and I saw a Large-tailed Nightjar there last night.

Regards,
Alan Gillanders
