Greetings!

This message is to announce the creation of a relatively new email
list for the
discussion of nocturnal flight calls of migratory birds.

NFC-L is an email list hosted by Cornell University, with the primary purpose
to provide an effective electronic forum for experienced birders to
discuss the
identification of night flight calls of migratory birds, exchange
ideas about
recording equipment design and setup, disseminate information about
active or
predicted night flights in your area, and to better understand weather and
RADAR data as they relate to patterns of nocturnal bird migration.

NFC-L was initiated on 24 April 2009; however, until now, the list has not been
publicly announced.
For more information about NFC-L and how to join, please Click Here.
