Keep out of the water Steve. Boat trips on the Daintree River from the
village serve two purposes, see the crocs and some good birds.

Hi Folks,

My brother and I (with wives) are doing a 7 day stay in the Daintree
near Thornton Beach, south of Cape Tribulation. Also a night at
Kingfisher Park. Awesome -can't wait.

Other than a trip out to the reef, are there any must see spots to head
for?? We are looking for half day trips that we can take the non birding
ladies along also.

Can you swim in the sea at that time of the year? Dangers? Stingers and
Crocs???

Cheers

Steve Potter
