Hi,

I saw a male Australasian shoveler in Cent. Park on the Musgrave Ave ponds
last week but didnt notice a female or any other shovelers. A quick search
of the archives show that in 2006 a list member saw a single shoveler. Has
anyone seen his mate around?

Also, noticing lots and lots of Yellow-tailed Blacks. At least 100 fly over
my place in randwick coming out of the park usually at the same time of day
- between 3-4pm.
