Actually, pigeons cop it from many quarters. Here in Istanbul, Turkey, there 
have been quite a few records of the locally common Yellow-legged Gulls (a 
close relative of the Hering Gull and similar in size) pursuing, catching and 
eating city pigeons. I have seen this behaviour myself, though not a successful 
catch, but successful pigeon dinners have been filmed. Sorry, I don't have a
