I know that some months ago a Blue-billed Duck was reported from the lake in the UQ campus grounds at Gatton. Well this afternoon I was there and a gorgeous male is there - perhaps the same bird returned? A rare vistor to the region so worth the visit for local birders who havent seen one.

Also there good numbers of Pink-eared Duck, Grey Teal, Black Duck, Plumed Whisling-ducks, Wandering Whistling-duck ( a couple), Pied Geese, Large Black, Little Black and Little Pied Cormorants, Darter, Australasian Grebe, Coot, Swamphen, Moorhen.
