Jason Searle's message bounced - he has a photo of the bird so may be
able to put that online or send it to anyone who requests it. Please
contact him directly (I also have the photo if anyone wants a look)

Subject: White Wagtail - Awonga Pt Treatment Plant - Weipa

Hi

I believe I have spotted a white wagtail at the Awonga Point sewage
farm at Weipa over the easter break (see photo attached). Based on a
quick look at Simpson & Day, it looks like a male in nonbreeding
plumage, although if anyone can confirm this that would be great ...

It is worth a look if you are in the vicinity, I have seen it about 6
times over the past few days. However, work is recommencing on the
expansion of the plant today after the easter break, so access is
likley to be a problem, as thwere are signs saying the road will be
closed ???? Also the bird is pretty flighty so may not stay much
longer once the machinery fires up ...

I will be on the mine all day and dont have access to the mailing list
from here, but will check my emails tonight ...

Cheers Jason Searle
