Wedge-tailed Shearwaters: lots
Flesh-footed Shearwaters: a few
All four local Cormorant species
Eastern Reef Egret: 2
White-faced Heron: 2
Collared Sparrowhawk: 1 female
Sooty Oystercatcher: 8
Pacific Golden Plover: 8
Tun Pin's Golden Plover: 1 (this bird shows field marks of American Golden 
Plover, but the ID is not definite yet)

Black-fronted Dotterel: 4
Ruddy Turnstone: several
Red-necked Stint: several
Pomarine Jaeger: 2
Little Tern: a few
Caspian Tern: 2
 
 
 
Ku-ring-gai Chase NP, Sydney, NSW, March 1st, 2009, evening (Waratah Trail WT; 
Sphinx
Memorial SM) (Ed Williams, Rob Hynson, Raja & myself)
 
Tawny Frogmouth: 1 SM
White-throated Nightjar: 1 SM (hunting from 8pm to 8:05pm ,
then stationary calling in the bush for about 20 minutes) [Thanks, Tim & Tom!!!]

Australian Owlet-nightjar: 2 calling SM
White-throated Needle-tail: 2 SM ( 7:30pm )
Collared Sparrowhawk: 1 female WT
Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo: 2 SM
Variegated Fairy-Wren: 2 WT
Yellow Thornbill: 5 SM
White-cheeked Honeyeater: 6 WT
 
Brown Antechinus: 1 SM ( 7:45pm )
Long-nosed Bandicoot: 1 possible WT
Black Wallaby: 4+
Grey-headed Flying-fox: lots
