Today i got great views of a peregrine falcon on my way out to the port of 
brisbane roost. Not the most common raptor around brisbane so if your heading 
out that way it may pay to keep an eye on the big power poles. I watched the 
bird through the scope for about ten minutes before it flew off and started a 
series of dives at break neck speed in behind the mangroves. Spectacular stuff!
