Have just received photographs of an adult female Yellow Bittern taken on
Christmas Island yesterday. Only previous accepted record for anywhere in
Australia is from SW WA. A report from NSW is likely but deemed by HANZAB to
be not acceptable as it has not been assessed by BARC or its predecessor.
