Hi All. Rare crested penguin on SW tip (Cape Du Couedic) of Kangaroo Island now positively confirmed (by Ken Simpson) as a Moseleys Rockhopper Penguin. Successfully completed moult and presumably now gone to sea again. Magnificent looking thing in its new plumage. A real thrill and privilege to see it close up. Some more pics gioing onto my Flickr site www.flickr.com/photos/chrisbaxterki/ over next few days.
