So, Mum, who's in the Blue Mountains sent me a pic of a raptor mauling
something in their front yard. Most people think it was a Sparrowhawk,
but the jury is still out. And may not come back in. However, some
people also had a crack at the prey, a couple of people suggested
Cockatiel. Being the Blueys this would be unlikely, unless it was an
escapee, and then one would assume as an escapee it would make a great
lunch.
So it was with great mirth on Sunday that I was in the Blueys, and saw
quite a few posters on power poles with "LOST: PET COCKATIEL".
Should I send them a photo?
FOUND: Some bits of a cockatiel. In the clar and beak of either a
Sparrowhawk or Goshawk.
