Hi all

Excuse me if this a double-up, I sent one this morning and was advised
by one member that it arrived as a blank email.

On Sunday I observed an obvious leucistic Torresian Crow in suburban
Oxley (Brisbane west). What I found unusual about this bird was the
stunning plumage variation; typical crow colouring with pure
well-defined white stripes on both wings - no blotches or shading
variants. Hence the 'pied crow'. It was in a party of three birds;
another adult with normal plumage and a juvenile showing white markings
on wings but not the pure white stripes of its parent. A very
interesting bird.

Cheers

peter
