Hi all,

A friend has asked for help identifying a finch-like bird that has turned up
in his backyard in Newcastle.  The bird is banded so is not the next
twitchable vagrant, but its definitely not Australian.  Can anyone who wants
to take a crack at an ID email me and I'll send them a photo?
