G'day,
Anyone who thinks Keith has an untrained eye has never birded with him. His ears are even better.

I think that we can discount Franklin's Gull because of the extent of the dark under the wings. The lack of black on the rear part of the crown, nape & face and the presence of brown/grey on the belly also point to Laughing.
