Unfortunately I witnessed first hand a large road kill of Superb Parrots just out of Stockingbingal (between Temora and Harden). Just after sunrise, and we were driving into the sun, so the visibility would not have been a problem for the birds. Vigourous honking, and hit the brakes but still hit two or three or four birds. On the return trip we stopped and counted around twenty dead birds in just fifty metres.
