Philip,

My daughter has a Facebook account but couldn’t access your nephew’s site. Is there any chance of getting him to send the photo itself? I am sure there are probably many people in COG with access to a field guide to Madagascar – I have one. We are all now intrigued to see what the species is.

Hi All,

This is probably a trivial request. My nephew sent me a link to a photo with this text (below). I can't view it, because it requires a "facebook account", which I don't have. So I have no idea of anything about it and I don't have any books about Madagascar either. Knowing how much some of you like a challenge I thought I'd put it out as a quiz of which I don't have any idea about the answer.

Hi Philip,

I saw this bird in Madagascar, supposedly it is very rarely seen as it
is very timid, we were able to get very close, what is it?

Actually, my friend has mo interest on birds so I thought you may want
to post some info about that bird under the pic to give him some
insight into what he is seeing

Talk soon

Marcus
