Hi all,
I've received a report of a possible small group
of yellow-coloured wagtails in the Capertee
Valley at the end of Goora St, Glen Davis (just
where you turn right to go to the national park
near Oskas Cottage), seen on 6th December. The
observer, who is familiar with wagtails overseas,
noted the wagtail size and shape, yellow flanks,
yellow rump, grey head and back, which all seems
to indicate Grey Wagtails. The birds were feeding
on the road and flew away to small roadside
shrubs when disturbed. Unfortunately I didn't
find out about it until this week. If anyone is
going down that way, please keep an eye out. I
won't be down there until the weekend.
The lat/long as given by the observer, is: S 33°07.00; E 150°16.43.
