If Artemis Station is a pastoral lease - and I think that is the
tenure for most of that area - then its not private property.  I've no
knowledge of Queensland law, it may well allow the leaseholder to deny
access,  but if it does we should be pushing for the law to be changed to
allow responsible public access which does not interfere with pastoral
activities.  Just a general point, not about Artemis specifically (and 
their heavy involvement in conservation is wonderful).
