I remember a couple of years ago on a Cumberland Bird Observers Club outing seeing 7 Pacific Bazas in Wilberforce scattered around the trees in a park where we stopped for lunch!
Very exciting indeed!

Maybe it's not such an uncommon occurrence???

PS - for those not from Sydney - Wilberforce is not too far from East Kurrajong
