The Murrumbidgee Field Naturalists have released Bird route brochures for
Leeton and Narrandera to complement the one published earlier in the year
for Griffith.
If you have not picked yours up while you are at the Australian Bird Fair
you can get them from the Visitor Centres at each location or you can email
me a postal address and I will send one out.
It is important that you do ask for these publications at the Visitor
Centres so that these representatives of local government have a way of
assessing the value of 'avian-tourism' for the area and, as a flow on, take
the preservation of local biodiversity more seriously.
The production of the brochures has been self funded by the MFN and put
together by a passionate group of people. We hope you enjoy the brochures
and your visit to the MIA.
