Hi Bob,
The Black-fronted Dotterels only hung around for a week, one was
gone last Wednesday and the other by Saturday.
At 0715 Saturday a WHITE-NECKED HERON and a male CHESTNUT TEAL
were next to and on that dam (at the bottom of Mayfair Rd Mulgoa, south
side), respectively, but both had disappeared on our way back 45 minutes
later. Both seen about once every couple of years in that vicinity.
The dotterels are regular on the gravelly edges of the Pages
River at Gundy, near Scone.
Cheers

Michael
