Brisbane Peregrines

Those of you who are familiar with the Peregrines that nested on Admiralty
Towers (Frodocam) in Brisbane are probably aware that the pair have moved this
year. One briefly came back to the old nest ledge for a spot of sunning
recently.

They are still in the area and a fair bit of activity has been seen around the
neighbouring Aurora Towers and to some extent Riverside Place but no sign of a
nest there yet. One of the QM photographers got great shots of one of the
Peregrines on the roof of Aurora Towers (one pic will appear in little bird
guide to inner Brisbane due out next week). This bird was not aggressive when
approached, so the nest is unlikely to be close.

Could any Brissie birders who get down to that part of town (Eagle
Street-Riverside Centre) keep an eye out for them & let me know what they see,
please? I have a feeling that the new nest for this season is hidden away. BTW,
the pair on the Hilton are in residence as usual.

Cheers
Greg
