Paul,
Carnabys are often in Yanchep National Park up Waneroo Rd in the trees above the parking area.

Ruth and I are heading over to Perth this coming weekend for the air race and intend staying on a couple more days. We're interested in seeing both Short-billed (Carnaby's) Black Cockatoo and Long-billed (Baudin's) Black Cockatoo if we can - we were over this time last year and dipped on both. Are there any reasonably reliable sites within an hour's drive of Perth for either species? We're familiar with Frank O'Connor's web site, which led us to spend a reasonable amount of time at Wungong Gorge and Bungendore Park last time, and will probably head to those locations again on at least one morning. Any other tips on finding these species would be most appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
