Hi Andrew, Troy, Peter, and Birding Aus,

Sorry for the late post.
Yesterday, late afternoon, we (Rob Hynson, Raja and I) saw the Crimson Chats
again at Sydney Park (at the spot Google-mapped by Troy Mutton recently), 30+
Nutmeg Mannikins, 2+ Little Grassbirds...

Before dusk at Eastlakes Golf Course, we had a pair of Australian Spotted
Crakes, a Buff-banded Rail and just when it turned dark a bird that looked good
for a juv Lewin's Rail (which makes 6 species of rail including the three
common ones [Moorhen, Swamphen, Coot]; no Baillon's, no Spotless), in addition
4+ Latham's Snipes and several Little Grassbirds.

A total of 51 species in two hours in two suburban parks wasn't too bad.

Nikolas
