Hello all,
Yesterday I and several friends observed an Australian Raven with a quite
noticeable greyish coloured breast. I did not get the bino's on to it but did
manage a couple of rather ordinary photos. One of these shows signs of a
pinkish colouration suggestive of bare skin, but we did not notice this at the
time. The bird was seen several times over a 5 hour period, and did not appear
to behave in any unusual way.
Any suggestions as to a probable cause for this discoloration, and how common
is it? I have never seen it before.
Location was Burnham Burnham Reserve, Woronora River, Sydney.

Thanks
