Shot some nice photos of these lovely birds this afternoon (2.30). Followed
them around from child care centre to high school but they seem to favour
the white gum in the pre-school. Thanks Jill for the info. I counted 7 birds
but saw no bands. Reckon the flowering gum will last several more days so if
anyone has yet to see Swift Parrots it's well worth a visit. Only problem
for photographers is being male, hanging around pre-schools with a
Cannon long lens. Fortunately it was a weekend!
