Hi all,

Having seen the finches a couple of weeks ago I am quite disappointed to hear
the nest has been damaged/destroyed.

Of concern as well is the reports of a campsite 30m from the nest site. As soon
as I arrived to search for the birds I saw the nest immediately and kept my
distance, isn't that what binoculars are for.

I hope the finches stay around as I will be heading up to Griffith soon and
hope to see them again.
