Two changes have been made to the BOCA Birding Maps (
http://www.birdobservers.org.au/BirdingMaps.asp) system:

   1. We have introduced a "group marker" which speeds up the loading of the
map and makes the map simpler - areas with many markers (which previously
would tend to overlay each other) now have a single marker which represents
all of the markers in that area - clicking on the marker will zoom the map
in and reveal all the underlying markers.
   2. Thanks to the support of Richard Alcorn there is now some degree of
integration with Eremaea - most "Birding Locations" now have a link to
display the Eremaea records for that location. When you select a location it
will also give links to any Eremaea database records in the surrounding
   areas.

Any feedback, questions or comments welcomed.
Dave
