Hi Steve

It's a difficult little bird to locate on a biggish lake if you don't know his
favourite hang-out!

There is a tree right on the tip of the point, and the Freckled Duck is most
often in front of, or close to, the base of that tree. Sometimes on the island,
sometimes just sitting in the water close to the bank. Of course, he wanders
off into the open water sometimes, but he doesn't seem to go far.

Good luck! Let me know how you get on.

All the best

Bill
