Further to Tim's comprehensive list, the birds that I remember from climbing trips to Arapiles are the raptors around the rock, mostly Peregrines, Kestrels, Brown Goshawks and the occasional Hobby; Hooded Robin and Diamond Firetail near the campground, and Southern Whiteface near Bishop's Mitre (Mitre Rock).

Lake Natimuk is a good spot for waterbirds, and I've seen most of the usual duck species there, plus BT Native-Hen and RN Avocet. Recorded Caspian Tern on one trip in 1994.
