Moreover Dave (and Paul), any networking application that actually abused
the content their users submitted would probably see an exodus of both
content and people from their site. There are plenty of other social
networking sites, so while Facebook is the flavour of the month, Myspace,
Xanga, Orkut etc. are still good sites and could steal users easily. That's
not to say I'd put any high quality images up, but I wouldn't do that
ANYWHERE on the net, not without a visible watermark or logo that prevented
theft. Facebook is mostly covering themselves against being sued for some
unexpected reason I would imagine.
