That sucks,

Hope it's gone by October then. Can they not relocate it as they do in some
of the other public locations?

I think they're trying to protect the crocodile!  So I suggest that unless
you present a certificate to the effect that you won't give the poor
creature indigestion, you probably won't be allowed in!
