Just the other day a friend told me an interesting alternative scenario
which got me thinking about previous discussions on this forum about which
birds are found stunned at windows.
Friend was with a small child (about to learn about some facts of life) on
the veranda of a Lorne, Vic holiday house. A small bird (I forget which,
honeyeater or spinebill) brained itself on a window in front of them. Before
they blink a Kookaburra collected a handy take-away meal,
