Hello

I read on a forum I visit that it might be worth informing you of a recent
Powerful Owl sighting.

There is further information and an image on this link
http://australasiaforum.net/australasia/index.php/topic,2822.0.html

I saw the Owl on private land at a place called Hookes Creek at the Barrington
Tops, NSW. We were apparently the first people to walk their full network of
trails for over 6 months so I don't think he is affected by human activity too
much at the moment.

The land is now up for sale and the staff believe there is interest from The
National Parks although the area is also surrounded by State Forest. Whatever
happens to this Owls environment I hope they leave it in the pristine condition
it is in today.

If anybody can shed anymore light on his age or any other feedback I would be
interested to know.

I hope this is of interest.

John
