Black Falcon question

Keith, I don't think any of my field guides show the wings in anything
but a back-swept position, so I didn't know about this diamond shape
when circling.  I can see it in Edwin Vella's photo at:

Do Brown Falcons never fly with their wingtips that far forward?

Hi everyone/Tony, The obvious one on a perched bird is the trousers, In
flight they have a step in the edge of the tail feathers,not easy to
see.When circling the wing shape is a distinctive elongated diamond
shape.
