Dear All,

Yesterday, 21 June, shortly after noon I spotted an adult Hooded Plover on
Floreat Beach (WA). It looked like full breeding plumage to me but there were
some discussions on the level of darkness of the colour and so on.

It was by itself but did not seem to be too scared by the walkers and runners
and allowed itself to be photographed from a few meters distance (not by me,
otherwise I'd share a photo). It was still there an hour later and well stick
around for a while.

Location: Between the Floreat Beach carpark and City Beach Groyne.

Cheers,

Maree
Perth, WA
