Unusual interaction between White throatednightjarand GST

Jill. I'm surprised White-throated Nightjar wasn't on the Boondall Wetlands
list. I haven't seen them myself, but my neighbour, who goes night kayaking
in the wetlands, told me that he often sees them. In fact I've been meaning
to try it. Apparently summer is the best time.

Nightjars do roost on branches like that. However, others will have to 
answer re Boondahl.
The main thing is, GREAT report and thanks for sharing!!!!!! What a 
wonderful series of photos that interaction would have made! Super story - 
just what we love on birding.aus :-)
