Have been following this thread with great interest and would like to record an observation made about 2 years ago at Wandiligong NE Vic. My son and I disturbed a Peregrine Falcon feeding on a Maned Duck with a second recently killed Maned Duck on the grass less than a metre away. The head and chest of the first duck had been consumed with a ring of feathers surrounding the carcass. The second carcass was intact with some fresh blood on the chest. My question is - could a Peregrine Falcon down two birds with one stoop?
