Hello all,

This morning, May 31, 2008, Max Sutcliffe and I observed a Pied Heron at Glebe Park, Bega, Far South Coast of NSW.

Max took many photos! It alighted in a bare poplar then down on to dense lily pads where we watched it feed for 15 minutes or so before we departed. Glebe Park is 1 minute from the clock in the centre of Bega on the right hand side of the road to Tathra, known as either Bega - Tathra Rd or Snowy Mtns Hwy.
