Max,

Thanks for the good write-up. In addition, those who stayed on for the longer walk on the Six Foot Track saw a few more nice birds, including Diamond Firetails, Double-barred Finches, Wedge-tailed Eagle, Brown-headed Honeyeaters and Buff-rumped Thornbills.

However as Max described, the day's highlight was undoubtedly the prolonged views of both male and female Spotted Quail-thrush which everyone in the group enjoyed!

Megalong Valley is in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.
