In response to Black Kites fishing, I have seen a possibilty of this in Airlie Beach. During the dry season I have seen pairs of Kites in Muddy Bay scavenging on the mud flats as well as hawking over the water but can't remember them actually fishing but this season will keep an eye on them a bit closer. They did take food from the flats and spent alot of time over the water. They do not frequent the bay much and I have only recorded them there less than a dozen times.

Cheers
Dan Blunt
