G'day to all,

There is an oft-quoted stat that on every international flight taking off
from Heathrow there are on average four birdwatchers. I was wondering
whether anyone had a source for this stat. I seem to remember having read it
in Mark Cocker's excellent book "Birders- Tales of a Tribe" but can't seem
to find the reference on a quick re-reading.

Apply privately if you like, unless you think this is one of those burning
issues that the list should be concerning itself with.

Thanks, Dools
