Hi again, MAx,
There are some great spots around Baradine, in addition to Carmel
Lagoon (which I don't know). There is a brochure available in Coona,
Baradine, and lots of other Tourist info Centres in the north west on
"Bird Routes of Baradine". This may well have Carmel LAgoon listed,
too.
Cheers,
John Tongue,
Ulverstone, Tas.

Hi Max,
Welcome to the list. Carmel Lagoon is out out at Terridgerie, near
Baradine, so it is not far from Coona. I would ask around in
Baradine for accurate directions, as my memory is a bit rusty, it
is some 15 years since I have been there.
Cheers,
Carl Clifford

Hi everyone.
Im going for a short stay to my Grandparents farm on the weekend.
There farm is situated about 20km NE of Coonabarrabran in central
NSW and I was wondering if anyone knows where Carmel Lagoon is? I
think it might be a bit further west past Baradine, its meant to be
good for Yellow-billed Spoonbill's, a new bird for me.
Max.
