Cooktown locals report that the Slaty-backed Gull has not been seen for a
fortnight. The latest reported sighting I have is from two groups on
Wednesday 26 March. It was then observed flying strongly and soaring
'high-up'. If someone knows of a subsequent sighting please advise.
