That is the point. It costs so much to have cheaper binoculars repaired
that most people appear to simply buy new ones. We know expensive
binoculars are also expensive to repair. So what happens to the old
cheaper ones. Can they be sent somewhere where the labour cost is
cheaper for repairs and someone may appreciate and use them or is it not
worth it at all and we just "chuck em away" and forget about the whole
thing. I am easy either way.
