Let's hope it flies away before National Parks get there.

Over several hours through the middle of today the House Crow frequented
the childrens' playground 200m west of the SLSC - which is at the
northern end of the 'developed' section of the beach. It scavenged to
within a few metres of a man feeding pigeons, magpies and mynas in the
middle of the playground. Otherwise it retreated to adjacent trees and
remained elusive.

Returning later with mates and not finding the bird we adopted the above
tactic with immediate success. Was able to get good photos.

I have been told that National Parks has been notified.

Bob
